Raven Tours and Treks is one of the top 10 companies providing services to visitors to Bhutan, The Land of Thunder Dragon. It is owned by Mr. Deepak Tamang, a resident of Bhutan.
We provide tours and treks in Bhutan with the help of our sales representative in USA, UK, NORWAY, AUSTRALIA, NEWZEALAND, BELGIUM, POLAND AND BANGKOK.
Raven use a very small pool of guides and drivers most of whom are exclusively contracted to us, typically they have at least 4 years experience as guides, speak good English and have an extensive knowledge of the area, religion, plants and people that you will be visiting.
As a company we offer both pre-designed tours where you can join up with other visitors, or we will help you design your own itinerary, just let us know your preference.
We have also earned a special reputation for successfully meeting the challenges of the many varied requests received by our guests. Such requests have included a trip to the local Karaoke center, an impromptu Archery competition, a visit to a farm house to taste the local cuisine, a stone hot “tub” bath, a visit to a local fashion show, and even a meeting with monks followed by a meditation experience. Raven Tours leaves no stone unturned in an attempt to meet your needs, no matter how unusual- we have even been known to arrange successful honeymoons- such is the scope and diversity of our interest and expertise.
We are licensed by the Tourism Council of Bhutan, a member of ABTO(association of Bhutanese Tour Operators and PATA(Pacific Asia Travel Association).
Our main office is in the capital city Thimphu, Bhutan and Deepak makes every effort to meet with all clients at some time during the visit to gather their views on the trip.
