Raven Tours is one Bhutan’s leading government licensed tour companies. We’re different in ways that matter to travelers – our guests. Bhutan’s laws require that visitors to Bhutan must be part of an organized tour run by a tour company owned and operated by Bhutanese nationals. Tour companies will take you to mostly the same places; and, since the choice of hotels is limited, you will stay in the same. But, there is a difference among tour companies and it’s not cost! It all comes down to knowledge, service, care and safety.
Who are Raven Tours and Treks?
Raven was formed in 2004 and is now recognized as the leading tour operator in Bhutan (we also operate tours to Nepal and India).
Our strength and uniqueness lies in our knowledge of Bhutan and an understanding of what western clients are looking for and expect in service, sights and safety. We can help translate the mysteries of Bhutan’s culture into concepts easily understood by visitors unfamiliar with Bhutanese culture and values.
Ravel Tours has an agents based in Europe, US and Asia who understands what western clients are looking for, and a very experienced Bhutanese team who will meet those needs.
We are licensed by the Tourism Council of Bhutan, which means that any payments you make to us are not released until after you reach the country (aside from money for flights – which is paid direct to Druk Air).
Our main office is in Thimphu and Deepak Tamang, Raven Tours CEO, makes every effort to meet with all clients at some time during the visit to welcome them to Bhutan and gather their feedback.
